Lechner Family

I love this family. This is the third time I have shot for them and I honestly can say that they feel like old friends. Grace and Abe are the sweetest children and full or adventure and spirit! These two have such a great relationship, it makes me long for my childhood. The last shoot we did was on the beach in summer, where Grace wore a pretty dress and stepped in the waves while Abe ran in the sand in his cute little bare feet. This shoot was quite different! It was chilly and damp but the sun was shining and it was a perfect day for snuggling inside for that perfect holiday photo. I put together a couple of designs to show how neat your holiday cards can be. In a way indoor/ at home sessions are my favorite kind of family shoot, especially families with small children. At home they can be themselves. they love to show off their rooms, snuggle in mom and dad's bed, roll around on the rug and just be! I love seeing children in their natural comfortable environment... and then we all bundle up in our hats and scarves and get outside for some brisk shots!
It was a fun shoot and I look forward to the slew of them we have coming up!
It's a marathon weekend with two family shoots tomorrow and two on Sunday!
